Welcome to Union Centre Institute (“UCI,” “we,” “our,” “us”).

submitting an application, enrolling in a program, or using any UCI services, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.


1. Acceptance of Terms

By using our website or enrolling in a UCI program, you acknowledge that you:

  • Are at least 18 years old (or have parental consent)
  • Have read and agree to these Terms
  • Will comply with all institutional policies, codes of conduct, and academic regulations

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our website or services.


2. Programs & Enrollment

A. Program Availability

UCI offers career-focused health-care programs including Dental Assisting, Medical Assisting, Administrative Dental Assisting, and Dental Hygiene (pending accreditation).

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify program curriculum or schedules
  • Limit seats in programs
  • Cancel or reschedule classes
  • Change instructors, facilities, or delivery formats

B. Admissions Information

All information provided during the admissions or enrollment process must be truthful and complete. Providing false or misleading information may result in denial or removal from a program.


3. Payments, Fees & Refund Policy

A. Payment Requirements

Enrollment fees and tuition must be paid according to the payment schedule provided during registration.

B. Refunds

UCI abides by all Ohio State Board of Career Colleges and Schools (OSBCCS) refund policies.
As required by state law:

  • No more than $125 of tuition and fees may be retained for students who do not start class.
  • All enrollment fees collected are $125, non-refundable per state regulation.

Full tuition refund schedules are available in the student catalog.


4. Student Conduct & Responsibilities

Students must:

  • Follow all UCI academic, clinical, and conduct policies
  • Use school facilities, equipment, and materials responsibly
  • Adhere to professional and ethical standards
  • Comply with attendance and academic progress requirements

Violating institutional policies may result in disciplinary action, suspension, or dismissal.


5. Website Use

A. Permitted Use

You may use the website for:

  • Viewing program information
  • Submitting admissions forms
  • Contacting UCI
  • Accessing student resources (portals, links, codes)

B. Prohibited Use

You may not:

  • Use the site for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to disrupt website security
  • Upload malicious software or automated scripts
  • Collect or scrape student or institutional data
  • Impersonate UCI staff or applicants

SMS Terms (Opt-Out, Rates, and Carrier Disclaimer)

Message & data rates: Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency may vary.

Carrier liability: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

  • Admissions applications
  • Learning resources (e.g., Evolve, DALE Foundation, Simtics, Sherpath)
  • Appointment scheduling

These third-party sites have their own privacy and security practices. UCI is not responsible for their policies.


9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our website and services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
UCI does not guarantee:

  • Website availability or error-free operation
  • Employment upon program completion
  • Acceptance into externships or certification bodies (though we assist as required)

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, UCI is not liable for:
